As a performer, Landon remains active as a chamber musician and freelancer. He is a founding member of 3 to 1 Brass, a brass trio dedicated to promoting accessibility to classical and chamber music to students and rural communities. Recently, 3 to 1 Brass received a scholarship to attend the inaugural Seraph Brass Seminar in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and participated in the University of Arkansas Chamber Music Tour where they performed recitals for rural communities through the state of Arkansas. As a freelancer, Landon has performed with the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra and the Oklahoma Chamber Symphony. He is also featured as a solo artist on the album Septemundos by Timothy Schmidt.
Landon holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master of Music degree in Horn Performance from the University of Arkansas. His journey as a performer and educator has been shaped by incredible mentors including Dr. Katey Jahnke, Dr. Matthew Reynolds, Dr. Eldon Matlick, and Dr. Mike Misner.
Landon Geitzenauer is an accomplished chamber and freelance hornist and educator based out of Oklahoma City. He currently works as the Instructor of Horn at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and frequently works with band programs throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas as a Private Instructor and Brass Technician. In his teaching, Landon strives to cultivate a studio culture that values curiosity, accountability, and joy in the learning process.
