Landon Geitzenauer Horn and Brass Studio
My goal as a music teacher is to foster a passion for music through artistic expression and technical growth. I work with my students to develop short- and long-term goals as well as consistent habits that will help them improve their musical abilities and perform better on their instrument. These strategies result in students developing discipline and creativity which they can apply to other areas of their lives. Working with students in this way, I strive to create a learning environment where students feel safe and encouraged to grow and achieve their personal goals.
Students interested can contact me below or via email to schedule a consultation. In this consultation I provide you with free resources and information to help your learning, and we discuss the policies and resources to consider for entering my studio!

I will teach students the language of music in a positive and enthusiastic environment. I will support you in your educational journey, guiding your learning process with transparency and consistency.
I can teach you to:
Build efficient practice routines
Develop techniques through targeted exercises
Prepare level-appropriate repertoire for performances or competitions
Feel prepared for auditions or public performances
Or, simply play freely and have fun!

Students agree to arrive to each lesson well-prepared with all of their assigned materials and equipment. Consistent practice is crucial to good progress. Be curious about your learning and ask lots of questions.
Parents agree to help their student arrive punctually to lessons and stay consistent with their practice at home. If something is happening at home or school that is affecting your child, please let me know so I can navigate the needs of your child.
All students are encouraged to participate in auditions, recitals, and competitions. Please inform me of any opportunities that arise so that I can help you prepare.

I offer multiple tuition plans to ensure flexibility and consistency for all parties. Flat-rate monthly tuition is encouraged.
Lessons are scheduled for 1x weekly with occasional group learning opportunities.
-
Lessons canceled with under 24 hours notice will not be provided a make up lesson. Lessons canceled with 24 hours notice will be credited a make up lesson for that month.
All make up lessons are scheduled on a case by case basis.
Make up lessons do not count as credit for the next month’s tuition.
Lessons canceled by me will be given as much notice as possible. Cancellations outside of the guaranteed 46 annual lessons will be rescheduled within 30 days.
Tuition is based on the number of lessons the studio schedules and will not be altered. Planned vacations or other conflicts communicated in advance receive a make-up lesson credit for that month.
-
When students enroll, they are reserving their place in the studio for the entire term. Changes to weekly schedules may be made on a case-by-base basis each month before tuition is due.
If the student decides to pause lessons during the course of a month, tuition for the remainder of the month still applies. Alterations to this policy are on a case-by-case basis.
Fall Term - September through DecemberSpring Term - January through May
Summer Term - June through August
Please note that a student's spot will not be guaranteed for the fall term if they were not enrolled in lessons during the summer term.
Brass Technician & Group Lessons
Band Directors! With my emphasis in brass pedagogy I offer in-school group lessons and masterclasses with your horn and brass players. My teaching approach centers around ear training and aural perception, with a focus on creating beautiful sounds from the beginning. I am also available to work with your marching band brass as a technician to help polish their technique and show music. Programs I have worked with have seen success in ASBOA and OSSAA Regional Competitions.
